This morning, law enforcement officials in New York City announced that over 250 illegal firearms were seized by the NYPD, marking the largest gun seizure in the history of the city. The news came courtesy of Special Prosecutor Bridget Brennan, who joined Mayor Michael Bloomberg and NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly at police headquarters for the announcement.
Mayor Bloomberg has been dedicated to removing illegal guns from the streets, investing millions of his own dollars into national coalition Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
