The stench of manure is the rude awakening that Matthew Bruhn needed. According to the Grant County Sheriff's Department, Bruhn, 37, was texting while driving his rented Mustang when he smashed into a tractor full of liquid manure in Grant County, Wisc. on Monday.

Bruhn was treated for a broken finger at Platteville, Wisc.'s Southwest Health Center; his rental car was totaled. Matthew Miller, the driver of the tractor, was not injured.
