A candy company from Texas wants to change the traditional breastfeeding experience with a line of breast milk-flavored lollipops. On their website, the questionably named Lollyphile said "We felt it was our responsibility to find out just what this flavor was that could turn a screaming, furious infant into a placid, contented one."
Founder Jason Darling revealed to the Los Angeles Times that the lollipops are dairy-free and don't contain breast milk. They're actually mostly sugar, and he says they taste "like almond milk, but sweeter." According to Darling, they're an instant hit. They're sold in quantities of four for $10, and "a few thousand dollars worth" have already been sold since their Monday release.
