Brian Tyree Henry, two-time Emmy nominee and one of the truly amazing talents Atlanta introduced to the masses, has set his next project. He will join Amy Adams and Gary Oldman in The Woman in the Window, a "Hitchcockian thriller" directed by Joe Wright and based on the New York Times best-selling novel of the same name by A.J. Finn,Deadline reports.

With a script adapted by Pulitzer-winning August: Osage County playwright and Tony-winning actor Tracy Letts, the story centers around Anna Fox (Adams), a agoraphobic child therapist. As Deadline writes, she's a film noir enthusiast battling alcohol and substance abuse, mostly interacting with people online. She's also into spying on neighbors "like they do in the movies she loves," and winds up witnessing a crime.

The book was hailed as the next Gone Girl by the Washington Post. Produced by Scott Rudin and Eli Bush, the film is slated for an October 2019 release.

Henry was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series this year for his role as Al/Paper Boi on Atlanta, but he's also kept very busy outside of that with a string of critically acclaimed projects. This year, he appeared alongside Chris Evans, Michael Cera, and Bel Powley in the Broadway play Lobby Hero and appeared in the recent Hotel Artemis with Sterling K. Brown and Jodie Foster. He also has a busy schedule in the months to come, with projects including Super IntelligenceIf Beale Street Can Talk, White Boy Rock, and Widows.

The latter is a female-led heist movie set in Chicago directed by Steve McQueen and already boasts a stellar cast that includes Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Cynthia Erivo, and Elizabeth Debicki, Daniel Kaluuya, Colin Farrell, and Liam Neeson. McQueen penned the script with Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn.
