Over the last six years, the TV series Game of Thrones has entertained us with gorgeous scenery, epic battle scenes, loads of gratuitous nudity, and death. A whole lot of death. There's even a compilation of every single one of the estimated 150,966 deaths throughout the show's six-season run.
The clip starts with a reminder of how gruesome the show has been been with the visual of five dismembered folks just chilling outside. While the total number gets a major bump from the war scenes that seem to waste away lives as if they are candy, there are a couple standout moments worth mentioning. Arguably one of the most violent deaths in GOT history, the demise of Oberyn Martell is a grotesque reminder that it's never over until it's over. After appearing to get the best out of his opponent, The Mountain came through like the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals, battling from the depths of despair to defeat Martell.
Then, of course, you cannot discuss death and GOT without mentioning "The Red Wedding," which left viewers in a state of shock. The scene even spawned its own compilation of people utterly stunned by what they were witnessing. With season seven of Game of Thrones set to premiere on July 16, the show will certainly be adding onto that death count. How much are we talking? Guess you'll need to tune in to find out.
