Eminem Enlists Agent 47 to Kill Slim Shady in 'Hitman: World of Assassination'

"I've been trying to put Slim to rest, but he keeps coming back."

Eminem has enlisted the help of Agent 47 to kill his alter ego Slim Shady as part of the latest elusive target mission for Hitman: World of Assassination.

According to a post from Xbox Wire, Em will team up with Agent 47 as they navigate through a "medical facility in Hokkaido that has been reconfigured into the chaotic Popsomp Hills Asylum."

In the mission, Slim Shady is described as "an entirely separate, violent entity, and our intrepid assassin is tasked with taking him out by the real Eminem, in fear that his own creation will come for him."

The video game's new elusive target mission mirrors the theme of Eminem's 2024 studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), which sees the rapper want to put an end to the persona that existed throughout his early work.

"I've been trying to put Slim to rest, but he keeps coming back," Em said in a statement. "So this time, I'm calling in a professional to get the job done once and for all. We've got some surprises in store for everyone...it's a battle for the ages."

The Eminem elusive target mission will be available from December 1 to December 31.

Previous elusive target missions include collaborations with Bruce Lee and Jean-Claude Van Damme, as well as an assignment where the target is 007's Casino Royale villain Le Chiffre, which is voiced by Mads Mikkelsen.

In other Eminem news, Juvenile recently claimed that he played a key role in helping 50 Cent secure his record deal with Em and Shady Records.

"I got 50 Cent his record deal with Eminem," Juvenile told Nyla Symone in a new interview. "Ask 50, he'll tell you, yeah, Juve was the one. 50 couldn't really go to the studio at the time, and I was one of the first cats with a studio bus, so I let him record on my bus, him, [Tony] Yayo, and [Lloyd] Banks."
