Disney isn't messing around.

We're exactly three weeks away from the arrival of Disney+ into the streaming service conversation, and the platform continues to sweeten the pot in an effort to pluck away potential long-term subscribers from their competitors.

Their latest move comes with the announcement on Tuesday that Verizon will be giving a wide array of new and existing customers a year of Disney+ for free. The offer applies to anyone who signs up for Verizon's Unlimited service, or switches over to Fios Home Internet or 5G Home Internet.

Verizon's offer specifically targets another one of their rivals in the crowded streaming service market: Apple TV+. The deal is similar to the one provided by Apple, which is a free year of their upcoming service for customers who purchase a new product. However, the announcement was also able to lightly ruffle the feathers of their main competitor, Netflix, who experienced a slight drop in shares in wake of the their partnership.

Disney+ continues to sporadically flex on their competition as their Nov. 12 launch date draws near. Last week, Disney's Twitter account bombarded your timeline with a 600-plus tweet thread detailing every single title that will be available the moment the streaming service goes live.

If that wasn't enough, the tweet was followed by an over three-hour long YouTube video that served as a visual aid for anyone missed out the thread.

Disney+ is clearly coming for the streaming wars crown. Sign up for their Verizon offer here.
