Dakota Johnson revealed she recently had a dream where The 1975 lead singer Matty Healy was a murderer.
“I actually had a dream the other night,” Johnson told Amy Poehler on her Good Hang podcast. “Matty Healy from The 1975 was in my dream and he was murdering people, and he was Matty Healy as himself.”
The Materialists actress recalled Healy being pursued by police, but managing to evade them because he “would turn into a piece of asparagus.”
Her dream took an even more bizarre turn when Angelina Jolie made a cameo appearance as an asparagus. “I saw these two poles and a bed, and I was like, ‘Matty?,’” she remembered. “The sheets came down and it was him as an asparagus and Angelina Jolie as an asparagus. They were getting married, and they left in a helicopter together as asparagus.”
Johnson shared her dream with then-boyfriend Chris Martin, who thought she could be onto something.
“Chris was like, ‘That’s a really good pitch for a movie,’” she said.
People reported last week that Johnson and the Coldplay frontman have called it quits after eight years together. A source told the outlet that their split “feels final this time.”
Johnson will be the next guest on Hot Ones, premiering tomorrow.
