Carole Baskin Doesn’t Want to Be in New ‘Tiger King’ Episode

Whether it’s true or not, Carole Baskin isn’t interested in participating in the reported new episode of the wildly popular Netflix docuseries Tiger King, Entertainment Weekly reports.

“We have not been approached about a new episode and would not participate if asked," a representative for Baskin told EW.

Baskin recently penned a blog post in response to her portrayal in Tiger King, calling the docuseries “salacious and sensational." She was especially critical of how it was suggested that she had something to do with the 1997 disappearance of her second husband, Don Lewis.

Aside from being the owner of the Big Cat Rescue in Florida, Baskin was the nemesis of Joe Exotic, who targeted her in a murder-for-hire plot that landed him a 22-year prison sentence, which he’s currently serving.

Jeff Lowe, the current owner of Exotic’s G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma, claimed last week that a new Tiger King episode was in the works. “Netflix is adding one more episode. It will be on next week,” Lowe said. “They’re filming here tomorrow. Take care, stay safe, and put your mask on.”

Exotic’s husband, Dillon Passage, believes the rumored bonus episode will be some sort of reunion. “It's going to be like a live-based episode, I believe. Kind of like a reunion," Passage told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show Radio Andy. "But no, Netflix did not contact me to be a part of that."

There is even more Exotic-related content in the pipeline with a follow-up series based on the self-described “gay, gun-carrying redneck with a mullet” headed to Investigation Discovery. In other words, it's a good time to be a fan of Tiger King.
