Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Reunite at 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' Screening in New York CIty

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck shared a moment together on the carpet for the screening of Kiss of the Spider Woman in New York City on Monday.

Lopez and Affleck not only appeared to have a friendly interaction, but the exes posed for photos together.

The moment comes after Lopez's appearance Monday on TODAYwhere co-anchor Craig Melvin brought up that she was filming Kiss of the Spider Woman when her divorce from Affleck, who is an executive producer on the film, was finalized.

"In the middle of filming this elaborate, beautiful musical, your divorce was also finalized," Melvin said, to which the Emmy-nominated actress jokingly responded, "There you go! Look at this guy!”

Lopez recognized the unusual circumstance, confessing that Kiss of the Spider Woman does not happen with him.

"If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have [gotten] made, and I will always give him that credit," she said. "And yeah, things happen. You have to keep going."

Her divorce from Affleck has been recurring topic of discussion for Lopez while promoting Kiss of the Spider Woman. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning last month, the actress and singer admitted that balancing her professional and personal life at that time was "really tough."

When looking back at that stage in her life, Lopez is appreciative because it helped her grow into the person she is today.

"Honestly, I have to say it was the best thing that ever happened to me," she revealed. "Because it changed me… it helped me grow in a way that I needed to grow. Become more self-aware. I’m a different person now than I was last year."
