Netflix released a new trailer for the upcoming Marvel show, Jessica Jones. It’s short and sweet, but it tells you a whole lot about the comic book character in just under 48 seconds.
The camera pans over a messy, disheveled bedroom in Hell’s Kitchen at 2:59 p.m. We see Jessica Jones, lying face down in a bed wearing a black wife beater, dozing peacefully next to a night stand that has a bottle of alcohol and an overturned cup on it. At 3 p.m., her alarm clock goes off, playing “Lovin’ You” by Minnie Riperton. The hungover Jones is apparently not ready to wake up and instead crushes the alarm clock into smithereens with one hand.
Jessica Jones is Netflix’s and Marvel’s first new show together since Daredevil, Vox reports, and it premiers on November 20th.
