Fans of Stranger Things last saw Max (Sadie Sink) in a coma, but most of the main cast survived Season 4. Now, fans are bracing for the first volume of Season 5, and it's here.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 streams on Netflix on November 26, 2025.
What time is Stranger Things 5 coming out?
According to Netflix, Season 5 streams at 7 p.m. CT on November 26.
That means that the show streams at 5 p.m. PT, 6 p.m. MT, and 8 p.m. ET.
Netflix shows often stream at midnight, so the Stranger Things schedule is a little different.
The first volume features four episodes from the fifth season.
Netflix released a trailer for Season 5 three days before the release date. It racked up more than 3.7 million views on YouTube alone.
"We have a plan...it’s a bit insane. Volume 1 of the final season of Stranger Things drops Nov. 26th at 5pm PT," Netflix wrote with the trailer.
According to Forbes, Stranger Things Season 5 is " reportedly one of the most expensive seasons of television ever filmed, with a budget somewhere between $400 and $480 million USD."
That amounts to at least $50 million spent per episode, but only half of the episodes will be released on November 26, Forbes reported.
Fans are excited for Season 5, and they let Netflix know on its YouTube comment thread.
"Steve driving into the upside down is the most Steve thing Steve could do," wrote one person.
"We went from 'coming soon' to 'This Wednesday' is crazy, and I for one cannot wait," wrote a fan.
"I got so happy seeing 'this Wednesday' cuz it feels like we’ve been waiting for this for eternity and it's finally here," weighed in another fan.
"Robin and Murray in a truck together should provide some awesome comedy," a fan wrote.
