Call of Duty creator Vince Zampella, who died in a fiery Ferrari crash in California, leaves behind three kids.
His family once included wife Brigitte Zampella, but that marriage ended in a 2015 divorce filing.
Many people are wondering about the family that Vince left behind now that he has died in a tragic accident along a California highway. "The red Ferrari was coming out of the tunnel when it veered off the roadway, struck a short rock wall, and was engulfed in flames," the California Highway Patrol told the Mercury News. Vince was the driver. An unidentified passenger was thrown from the car, according to the newspaper.
Video shows the tragic crash, in which Vince's red Ferrari collided with "concrete barriers" along the Angeles Crest Highway in Altadena, CA.
Vince kept his family off his Instagram page, where he most recently posted about luxury sports cars. He did post two photos with a woman at an event, but he described her as a friend in one of the posts.
According to a 2015 article by TMZ, "Brigitte Zampella cites irreconcilable differences as the reason she's ending their 18-year marriage, and the stakes are high." The site noted that the Call of Duty video game has "grossed $11 billion in retail sales."
TMZ also reported that, at the time, the couple had three minor children. TMZ cited sources in alleging the divorce was "friendly," and the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement.
Hello! Magazine reported after the crash that the kids are Quentin, 26, Kyle, 22, and Courtney, 19.
Courtney Zampella posted a tribute to her dad in her Instagram story, sharing a photo showing them together and writing, "My best friend, forever and always." Her page documents her travels, with a recent post showing her posing in front of a luxury sports car in Las Vegas.
A website posted a series of family photos on a blog and website, describing the family. The photo spread is from 2012.

Kyle, the middle sibling, tells me he doesn’t like his photo taken, but is so photogenic and such a cutie!!
