Robert Irwin and Witney Carson formed a formidable partnership together, winning Dancing With the Stars.
Now, Irwin has revealed that they are planning to reunite — in Australia.
That's Irwin's home country; he's the son of the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, who tragically died when a stingray pierced his heart during an underwater documentary.
"Witney's coming down to Australia," Robert informed E! News after his victory with Carson. She piped in, "You're not getting rid of me that easy."
First, Irwin is going to other locations. "I go to New York and then straight to South Africa to film another show over there. And then, I'm back home," he told E! News.
He added: "I've been able to write my own legacy with Witney as we tell stories of positivity, vulnerability, passion and fun."
Irwin is single. Rumors have swirled around him and the previous DWTS winner, Xochitl Gomez, but he dodged questions about whether they were an item.
However, Carson is married, so there's no evidence that the reunion plans are as more than friends. Carson is in a long-term relationship with her husband, Carson McAllister. According to People, he was in the audience to "cheer her on" when she won the 2025 season.
The pair started dating in high school. They have two kids together, who were also in the audience, according to People, which added that Carson's husband is a mechanical engineer.
In 2024, Carson gushed about her husband on Instagram, writing, "Truly there aren’t enough words to express how lucky I am to have the most devoted husband and father. Most people don’t know how tirelessly you work for our family. Seeking for guidance in every decision we make to make sure it’s right, loving us unconditionally, and putting our needs before your own every single day.
