Actress Margot Robbie stunned fans by wearing a jewel-covered see-through dress to a European movie premiere.

According to USA Today, which referred to the garment as a "naked dress" that was "jaw-dropping," Robbie showed off the look on the red carpet while promoting the movie A Big Bold Beautiful Journey in London on September 11, 2025.

The dress was "a floor-length Armani Prive gown," the news site reported.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that legendary fashion designer Giorgio Armani recently died at the age of 91, interpreting Robbie's decision to wear his label as a tribute to him.

According to THR, sheer fashion is a trend among female celebrities, with Dakota Johnson also appearing on the red carpet for a different event in a sheer design.

Photos on Getty Images show that Robbie's dress was, indeed, see-through, covering strategic areas with appliqué. It was particularly revealing in the back, although, again, beadwork covered strategic areas.

It's part of a "naked dress" trend among female celebrities, confirmed USA Today, and is a rare recent red carpet appearance for Robbie, who gave birth in 2024 and stayed away from the red carpet for months.

According to E Online, her first red-carpet appearance since having a child with husband Tom Ackerley was on August 20.

Robbie "revealed more skin" in the gown than she has in past red-carpet looks since breaking out in Hollywood, People reported.

According to People, Robbie appeared on the red carpet alongside her co-star Colin Farrell. The new movie stars Farrell and Robbie as two single people who meet at a mutual friend's wedding and then go on an "adventure" together, People reported.

The characters "re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present — and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures," a plot summary obtained by People reads.
