In case you missed it, recently the Man of Steel finally defeated his longtime foe, Doomsday. Unfortunately the fight didn’t stop there. Somehow, Doomsday managed to infect Superman in his dying moment, bonding with the Man of Steel’s DNA and slowly transforming him into another Doomsday. Now Superman is looking for help from the most unlikely source: Lex Luthor.
That’s the premise of DC’s “Superman: Doomed” crossover storyline, which is running through Superman, Action Comics, Superman/Wonder Woman, and a handful of other titles. Courtesy of DC Comics, you can take a look at an exclusive preview of Superman #31 below, which is written by Scott Lobdell and illustrated by Ed Benes, with a retro variant cover by Mike Allred.
