Trace Cyrus isn’t holding back about his father Billy Ray Cyrus amid their ongoing feud.

The musician took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 10, in a scathing new post, accusing his dad of being “hungry for fame” and “delusional,” among other things.

“This man is so hungry for fame it's pathetic,” Trace, 36, began the post, alongside a photo of Billy Ray, 63. He recalled an instance where his father flew to Italy for a fashion show but refused to attend the funeral of Trace’s grandmother, “Mammie,” despite the offer of a $60,000 private jet, arranged by one of his daughters. “You're the lamest man to ever walk planet earth,” Trace continued. “Honestly embarrassed to ever have considered you my idol 🤡.”

Trace finished his rant with, “The best thing to come from your downfall is it made me go into beast mode. I refuse to be a washed up, delusional, evil person when I'm old like you.” He signed off with, “Christ is King. Get right with God. You need it.” The comment section for the post was disabled.

The former Metro Station frontman followed up his post with a Story further dragging the country singer. “Also why does he think that homeless hairstyle looks good? So weird,” he wrote.

Fans took to the comments of a more recent post from Trace to comment their opinions on the ones calling out Billy Ray.

“Man, don’t get me wrong, but it looks like you’re totally running after him and he doesn’t want to have contact with you.,” one user wrote.

Another said, “Seems like a cry for help from a son that desperately needs attention from his father. Bullying him isn’t the answer btw.”

“I just saw your story, I really do hope you get help from whatever is going on,” a third stated.

This latest tirade follows a message Trace posted in January, where he expressed deep concern for Billy Ray after his performance at Donald Trump’s inauguration. In that post, Trace opened up about his childhood admiration for his father, but admitted that he no longer recognized him.

In addition to Trace, Billy Ray is father to five other children; Brandi, 38, Christopher, 33, Miley, 32, Braison, 31, and Noah, 25.
