Since 2017, has there been a game that’s remained more of a constant in culture like Fortnite? What began as a fun, battle royale game has grown into a global hub that brings millions of players together through play, creativity, and shared experience. It hasn’t just captured attention; it’s made its mission to maintain it by expanding and finding new ways to engage communities.

Over the years, the game has become a destination for brands, creators, musicians, and entertainment franchises to connect in meaningful and interactive ways. It has mastered the art of blending competition, social interactions, and cultural moments into a single space highlighted by a lot of its recent in-game experiences.

Fortnite Festival has opened new avenues for music discovery and social play, allowing players to listen to and remix new tracks from their favorite artists. Film and television studios have brought their worlds to the game, creating immersive experiences that introduce stories and characters. Their Fortnite Icon Series spotlights influential figures across gaming, music, film, and fashion, reinforcing the platform’s role at the intersection of digital and real-world culture.

As they embark on another groundbreaking year, let’s take a look at the latest in-game launches that have made these past few months one for the ages.

Doja Cat

Fresh off her latest album, Doja Cat entered the world of Fortnite as the headliner for their annual Fortnitemares fright fest to claim her spot as the Mother of Thorns. Her inclusion included two new Outfits, including the aforementioned Mother of Thorns and the Agora Hills-inspired look, both blending fashion and fantasy. The real flex came when Doja Cat streamed her playthrough with the new Outfits, being able to enjoy the full experience with fans all over the world.

Tyler, The Creator

Launched: November 14

There are so many iconic figures in hip-hop today, but very few have such an original style as Tyler, The Creator. As part of Fortnite’s Icon Series, the west coast rapper was launched in-game with folks being able to choose between his two signature Outfits, including one inspired by his latest album Chromokopia. Players could tap into Jam Tracks like “EARFQUAKE”, “Ring Ring Ring”, and “Sticky,” turning Tyler’s catalog into not just something you could hear, but become the soundtrack to their experience.

LISA

Launched: November 29

International superstar LISA landed in Fortnite to take center stage in Fortnite Festival as the headlining act, bringing her Alter Ego album to life with an Outfit inspired by the teaser video for the project.

But the collab goes beyond just an Outfitdrop. Fans tapped into Alter Ego through Jam Tracks, Emotes, and a Back Bling inspired by LISA’s cat, Louis — a small but personal detail that makes the crossover feel intentional. LISA herself summed it up best, saying Fortnite “brought her alter egos to life perfectly,” giving fans a new way to engage with the project that feels interactive, immersive, and distinctly Fortnite.

The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge

Launched: November 30

What other game could bring an idea like this to life? The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge lived for years as Kill Bill lore. It was discovered, talked about, speculated on, but never seen… until now. Created in collaboration with Quentin Tarantino and starring Uma Thurman, The Lost Chapter was brought to life through Unreal Engine, giving players the chance to experience it for the first time. By transforming an unfinished moment from film history into a fully playable experience, Fortnite turned myth into memory. The Lost Chapter didn’t just revisit the Kill Bill universe — it expanded it, offering fans something rare: a new way in, and a new reason to return.
