Joey Badass and Serayah recently gushed about their love for one another and their excitement to raise a child together.
The couple attended the premiere of documentary Number One on the Call Sheet, where they spoke to Essence about their plans for parenthood. The child is Joey's second, as he has a 6-year-old daughter, Indigo, from a previous relationship.
On having a child together, the former Empire actress-singer called the feeling "amazing."
"It's my first time and it feels exuberant to be doing it with him," Sereyah said. "The first thing that came to my mind was reflection. It feels like an equal, a true partner, someone who really understands me, I really understand them."
On loving a Black woman, Joey called it "nothing short of a delightful, amazing, remarkable experience."
In February, Serayah debuted her growing pregnancy bump in red lingerie while walking Adore Me’s New York Fashion Week show. The couple, who have been together since 2025, also touched down at A Ma Maniére Beach resort in Folly Beach, South Carolina, for a babymoon.
"We are both in love with the idea of expanding our family together," Serayah previously told Essence about starting a family with the Brooklyn rapper-actor. "It’s a blessing to be able to share these moments and be in harmony about it all."
