While late on paying rent, Keke Palmer and SZA get into all sorts of hijinks in their upcoming comedy, One of Them Days.

The Lawrence Lamont-directed flick, produced by Issa Rae and written by Syreeta Singleton, follows close friends and roommates Dreux (Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA), whose rent goes missing upon the day its due. In an exclusive clip shared with Complex, the ladies try to hunt down the money, which Dreux believes is in the hands of Alyssa's boyfriend, Keshawn (Joshua Neal).

"Is that motherfucker wearing my robe?" Dreux asks before Neal gives it back. While Neal strips down to his boxers, Dreux notices the imprint of his giant phallus and jokingly mentions it to Alyssa when he leaves the room.

"What in the Medusa, girl? I almost turned to stone!" Dreux tells Alyssa. "I feel bad for even looking, my apologies–But it's all making sense. You gotta resist."

"I can't! I tried," Alyssa replies. "He can make it wave at me."

Months after wrapping the film's production, in December, Palmer and SZA praised each others talents via X, formerly Twitter.

"Keke Palmer is the the most talented person I've ever met," the singer-songwriter began. "No funny shit. Kinda scary but also inspiring .. not actually sure she's human. Need more recon. Will report back soon."

"If I'm not human, neither are you superstar," Palmer said in return.

One of Them Days comes to theaters on January 17. In the meantime, watch the clip up top.
