Millie Bobby Brown wants in on the role of Britney Spears in the pop icon's future biopic.
The Stranger Things star has frequently worn blonde hair and has been a dead ringer for Spears as of late, so while chatting with Access Hollywood during The Electric State premiere, Brown spoke about the chance to portray the singer.
"I mean, she is an absolute icon," the 21-year-old British actress told Access. "I would love nothing more than to be a part of her story."
She continued, "But that’s her story, and I am in full support of her bringing her story to life how she wants to."
Plans for a biopic, produced by Marc Platt, were announced last August and will be based on Spears' 2023 memoir The Woman In Me. Attached as director is Jon M. Chu, who last directed blockbuster musical epic Wicked.
Brown previously threw her hat in the Spears biopic ring in November 2022 while visiting The Drew Barrymore Show. Days later, Spears appeared to reference Brown's comments in a scathing Instagram post, where the singer also mentioned her parents.
"I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I'm not dead !!!" she wrote in the caption.
