Marlon Wayans might've had a girlfriend or two stolen by his older brother, Damon Wayans Sr.
Earlier this month, Damon was a guest on Club Shay Shay, where he confirmed to Shannon Sharpe that he "fell in love" with an ex-girlfriend of one of his nephews. Around the 2:30:00 mark of the video below, the comedian recalled briefly dating the woman with his nephew's permission sometime after his divorce from Lisa Thorner in 2000.
Agreeing that Damon is a "girlfriend-stealing bandit" was Marlon, who recently spoke to TMZ at LAX. "Damon–you’ve gotta stop doing that. That ain’t the first time, Damon. Damon’s the girlfriend-stealing bandit in the Wayans family. You gon’ stop this, Damon!" Marlon warned the Poppa's House star.
"We’ve got a thing. Don’t bring your girl around D, true player for real," Marlon added to the tune of Usher's "U Don't Have to Call."
After joking that Damon swings an "Usher chain" around his neck like the R&B crooner, Marlon continued, "Damon, stop doing that, seriously."
"It’s not what brothers and uncles and siblings and nephews do. Even the ugly ones, he take ‘em all. I had one, I was like, ‘There’s no way he’s gonna like her.’ [She was] short, unusually short. Stocky. Only had three fingers."
Mocking Damon, Marlon recalled his brother saying there was “something sexy” about the woman. "'She makes me feel a certain way,'" he joked.
Damon's reasoning for dating his nephew's ex was because of the "small dating pool" in Los Angeles, but acknowledging that his girlfriend-stealing technique could make family occasions "awkward."
