Streamer Konvy has spoken out after a scary moment caught on his Kick livestream this week almost proved fatal.

While streaming on Friday (January 9) in New York City, Konvy, a close associate of popular streamer Adin Ross, was shot at while on camera. The 22-year-old (real name Steven Garcia) went unscathed while a reported six shots hit the vehicle, reportedly in the Bronx, which also housed two other streamers and a cameraperson. Konvy and the group ducked for cover, and Ross later called Konvy, who was shaken up after the incident.

"It got confirmed to me that it's real...I made sure to know it was real," Ross said while livestreaming. "It's a real situation, it's not no bullshit, it's not no fake shit, it's not no fucking script shit. This is real."

One of the passengers seated to Konvy's left, JJ, was reportedly injured in the shooting and taken to the hospital, but on Saturday (January 10), Konvy provided an update about his friend's wellbeing on X.

"I wanna thank God for keeping us protected thru out the whole situation my friend got grazed but he is good and stable 🙏🏼," he wrote in a post. "I appreciate all the people checking up im tryna get back to everyone ❤️"

Since the incident, fans have posted well wishes on JJ's most recent Instagram post, although he hasn't yet addressed the shooting.
