Kit Harington has admitted that the cast of Game of Thrones have fallen out of touch since completing the show’s eight-season run.

The actor, who played protagonist Jon Snow in the medieval fantasy HBO epic, spoke to former co-star Peter Dinklage, who played Tyrion Lannister, in a new Variety feature.

While catching up six years after the series concluded, Dinklage asked if Harington had "kept in touch" with the Game of Thrones cast, which the British actor was honest about.

Between being a husband, a father and having upcoming roles in shows A Tale of Two Cities and Count My Lies, Harington said he’s largely been unable to reunite with his former GoT costars. After sharing that he mainly stays in contact with Emilia Clarke because "she’s just down the road," Harington added that there's "an element of school leavers to it."

"We finished the thing, the magic is gone and everyone has to separate," the actor said. "But I do text John [Bradley (Samwell Tarly)], and Richard [Madden (Robb Stark)], and I’m still in touch with Alf [Allen (Theon Greyjoy)]."

After Dinklage shared that he's been urged to "be a better friend" and contact his friends more, albeit letting "time go by" because of responsibilities, Harington added that the cast were "all quite desperate" and needed "to get on with life." "We had so much time together that actually, we needed some [space]," he continued.

Dinklage went on to joke that the cast is occasionally shown in AI photos that depict them "together at barbecues."

Clarke was recently asked about her time in GoT in a separate Variety story, where she denied making $300,000 per episode while playing Daenerys Targaryen. "We didn’t earn that much. Can you imagine? I’d have been driving a couple of Porsches!" the actor joked.
