Kai Cenat prepared himself to be "clowned" while tweeting about mental health one week after trying to spread awareness in a viral video.
The popular streamer returned to X, formerly Twitter, to speak more about the topic of mental health after feeling as though he needed to "speak up."
"Im not sad , I’m not depressed but I need to bring awareness to mental health after some of the feedback I’ve been seeing," the 24-year-old tweeted.
The internet personality added that he wanted to get personal with his fanbase about "dealing with self doubt and living in fear."
"As I was very consistent in streaming there were certain times I realized that I was losing touch of reality," Cenat said in a follow-up tweet. "I needed to take a step back and fully reset I started to realize I wasn’t even spending time with close friends and family behind the scenes as much as I wanted to."
He continued, "I cant imagine the things that people are going through on a deeper level so for those people let me speak up a little LOUDER idc if people look at me as a joke."
In his video posted last week, the streamer revealed that his mental health issues were mainly because of "self-doubt and fright of pursuing goals" he wanted to achieve.
While some of his followers understood the message, others alleged that Cenat was being disingenuous and isn't struggling considering his multimillion-dollar net worth.
Cenat continued with tweeting about lessons he's learned from anime shows like Death Note and Naruto, which he also mentioned during the 2025 Streamer Awards.
