Kai Cenat has seemingly canceled plans to stream with Ye in Japan.
The rapper-producer and designer went on a chaotic tweeting spree this week, making wild declarations about Adolf Hitler, the late Virgil Abloh, and more. Initially, Cenat planned to stream with Ye in Japan, tied to the artist's upcoming eleventh studio album, Bully. But in a new stream on Friday (Feb. 7), Cenat presumably revealed the stream's cancellation after Ye's rant.
"I'm gonna go ahead and address the elephant in the room," Cenat began in the video below. "I've seen the tweets, my n***a. I seen the tweets, bro. I don't know what's going on, bro. I think it's GGs."
Other celebrities have appeared to give up on Ye, including Travis Scott and Tyler, the Creator, both who unfollowed him on X, formerly Twitter. Other streamers, like Stable Ronaldo of FaZe Clan, also scolded Ye for his antisemitic and homophobic posts.
Last month, Cenat announced on Twitch that Ye was "ready" for him to visit Japan. "I’m not bringing up no streams," Cenat said at the time. "As you guys know, Ye is Ye for a reason. I’m there for the experience and seeing what’s going on. But I don’t think, I’m telling you right now. N***a, he’s in a great mood, bruh."
He continued, "I feel like he’s in a happy mood because the album’s coming out and shit. This could probably be a big ass prank. I don’t know. Who knows? Come all the way to Japan for nothing. I don’t know."
After sharing plans of traveling to Japan, Cenat met Ye at the Grammys, where they publicly made amends after a misunderstanding over Vultures merch.
