Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola safely delivered her first child this month.
On August 20, the Jersey Shore cast member welcomed a baby boy, Vincent Keith May, with her fiancé, Justin May. In an Instagram post on Tuesday (August 26), Giancola called her son a "rainbow baby," meaning a baby who was born after the mother suffered a pregnancy loss.
"Welcome to the world my rainbow miracle baby 🥹🍼," Giancola captioned the post.
"😭 After this very long journey to get here, words cannot describe how blessed and truly grateful we are. Forever living in our baby love bubble until further notice 🥹♥️ Ok I can’t stop crying happy tears. Thank you God."
In the pictures, a sleeping Vincent was seen wearing an adorable shirt that reads 'Hi, I'm new here," along with Giancola and May posing with the infant before getting ready to take him home.
As the Jersey Shore crew attended Giancola's baby gender reveal in May, costars Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "Jwoww" Farley and Deena Nicole Cortese, who all have children, congratulated Giancola in the comments.
"Welcome to the family baby! ❤️" Snooki's comment read.
With the exception of Jwoww, in June, the ladies attended Giancola's baby shower.
In May, Giancola predicted in an interview with People that her first child would be a boy. "I think we were just happy to have a healthy baby," she told the outlet. "We didn't care about gender at all, but we kind of had a feeling what it was."
