Island Boys rapper Franky Venegas was arrested to start the new year, and the crime was reportedly drug-related.

According to TMZ, the 24-year-old rapper and social media personality, also known as Kodiyakredd, was pulled over while driving with a female passenger in Naples, Florida, during a routine traffic stop on Wednesday (December 31).

During the New Years Eve bust, officers reportedly found "unprescribed Zolpidem tartrate" in a bag belonging to the woman, and a substance that allegedly tested positive for fentanyl. The drug paraphernalia was said to have coated a debit card and cut straw in Venegas' possession.

Since the holiday, Venegas has been held without bond in Collier County Jail, as he was already on bond following his arrest last February. At the time, the content creator was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of an altered firearm.

Venegas' twin brother and fellow Island Boys member Flyysoulja, real name Alex Venegas has also been in recent legal trouble, more so pertaining to his mental health. Last November, he was detained under Florida's Baker Act following a psychotic episode that he claims was caused by "multiple substances like pills."

"In the psychosis, I was trying to find something for my hair for hours, and destroyed the home while unknowingly being on Live," he explained on IG Live at the time.

The rapper also allegedly left his rental home trashed, as called out by his landlord, Andy Zamudio. "He got a three-day notice on November 7. That’s the night he got Baker Acted," Zamudio told TMZ. "I don’t know if he got crazy because of that…he was telling me he was in Mexico [and] he couldn’t pay rent."
