Cheryl Hines promoted her "MAHA" body care and candles while awkwardly putting her husband's shower time on full display this week.
In time for Black Friday weekend, Hines, of Curb Your Enthusiasm fame and married to politician Robert F. Kennedy Jr., posted a video to her Instagram to boost holiday sales for her Make America Healthy Again self-care brand.
While Hines kept her face front and center, RFK Jr. took a shower behind her, and she playfully yelled at him.
"No! You can't take a shower, I'm doing a video!" Hines told her husband of 10 years while holding two of her products. "No, no, no, I'm doing a... you've gotta give me a second. I'm doing a video for Hines+Young. Honey... 60% off."
While Kennedy didn't seem to acknowledge what his wife was saying, it doesn't appear that Hines received the attention she was looking for, as the move was criticized on social media.
Kennedy withdrew from the presidential campaign trail in August to support president-elect Donald Trump and has since been nominated as lead of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services—despite his disseminating misinformation about vaccines.
Hines, who is a Democrat, reportedly struggled with her husband's decision to back Trump.
"This is the opposite of what she would want to do,” Kennedy told TMZ in August. "She went along with it because she loves me and she wanted to be supportive of me, but it was not something that she ever encouraged, I would say."
