Despite how it may have looked following the 97th Academy Awards, Chelsea Handler and Ralph Fiennes aren't an item.
After the 2025 Oscars, Handler and Fiennes hit the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and were seen leaving together. When Handler was asked about the encounter on Entertainment Tonight this week, the former Chelsea Lately host shared that there was nothing between her and the English actor.
Handled explained that she and Fiennes "went from one party to another party" not as a date but "with a group of people."
"I don't think Ralph Fiennes is marriage material," Handler continued. "And I don't think I'm marriage material."
While she explained that she and Fiennes "might be a good pairing in that sense," she doubts that "either one of us is getting married."
While Handler reflected on her dating history with 50 Cent last month, she revealed on an episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show this week that she's seeing someone new.
"I have someone that I'm seeing now that I'm very attracted to and that I like having sex with, and so that's a really good, nice little thing I have going," Handler said around the 9:30-minute mark of the video below.
The comedian also explained why she doesn't consider herself a "relationship person" but a "purpose person."
"My purpose is here, to be here to have conversations like the one we're having right now, to infuse people with optimism, to be there for women–that is my purpose in this life, whether they're more lives or not," she said.
