Charlemagne Tha God had a surprising update about Wendy Williams' health during a recent episode of 105.1's The Breakfast Club.
During the Tuesday episode, around the 53-minute mark of the link above, co-host Jess Hilarious shared a report that alleged that Williams was made to look "incapacitated" during her 2024 Lifetime special.
Charlemagne agreed with the accusation, calling it "cap" that the former talk and radio show host is disabled.
"I spoke to Wendy over the holidays," he began. "She seemed perfectly fine to me. Wendy sounded like she could do radio tomorrow if she wanted to."
Charlemagne added that Williams contacted him and shared that he doesn't know what "incapacitated means in regards to dementia."
"Ain't nothing incapacitated about Wendy Williams," he said, adding, "She didn't skip a beat."
"When she called me, she was like, 'Why you answering the phone like we just we just spoke yesterday?' ... She wanted me to be more excited."
Charlemagne explained that he was washing his hands in the bathroom while speaking to Williams and accidentally tapped to record the call, which alerted Williams.
"She was like, 'Are you recording me?'" he explained. "And then she was like, 'No, you wouldn't do that.' So she's perfectly normal, from what I heard."
Reports surfaced last year that Williams was "cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated," according to lawyers for her guardian. Meanwhile, she's recently been seen in public, including attending the college graduation of her son, 14-year-old Kevin Hunter Jr.
