Bhad Bhabie's friend Ricky "Loopy" Ferrell was arrested earlier this week in connection to an alleged assault involving the rapper's mother, Barbara Bregoli.

According to TMZ, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has now examined footage from the incident, which occurred in August at the Florida house Bhabie co-owns with her mother.

It reportedly shows Bregoli and Ferrell having a confrontation inside the home. The rapper's friend and collaborator reportedly grabbed Bregoli's iPhone 15 Pro and violently shook her multiple times as she tried to retrieve her phone.

Once getting out of Ferrell's grasp, Bregoli reportedly walked to her car as Ferrell followed before appearing to retrieve a gun from the vehicle. Ferrell was also seen placing the phone on the trunk of Bregoli's car and then leaving the scene.

In his recollection of the incident to officers, Ferrell claimed that Bregoli pointed the gun at him while she had her finger on the trigger. At the time of the incident, neither Bregoli or Ferrell were arrested, but after authorities reviewed the footage, Ferrell was detained on Thursday (November 14) but has since been released.

Bhabie and her mother have a very checkered public past, dating back to their first media appearance on Dr. Phil in 2016.

Bregoli appeared on the former talk show as a mother concerned for Bhabie (real name Danielle Bregoli) who exhibited out-of-control behavior at 13 years old. The appearance also launched Bhabie's "catch me outside, how 'bout that?" catchphrase.

As reported in early August, Bhad Bhabie reportedly received a security alert that someone was in the master bedroom of her Florida home, which her mother responded to by visiting the house she co-owns and encountered Ferrell. The "OG Crashout" rapper told police that she had been letting Ferrell stay at the residence for several months.

One month prior, Bhabie posted an Instagram Story about her mother, claiming she was "harassing" her and her friends, and warned her to stop as she's on her "payroll."
