Aries Spears Brutally Honest in New Interview: Says He Cheats and Is 'Not a Great Father'

The comedian didn't pull any punches when talking to a former 'MadTV' castmate.

Aries Spears did not hold back when discussing his faults in a new interview — and got advice from a former castmate as a result.

During a special episode of Bobby Lee's TigerBelly podcast, which was posted on Thursday (May 1), Spears admitted to a number of sins, from cheating on his partner to being a bad father. He also copped to being jealous of the success of other comedians, mentioning Kevin Hart specifically.

Debra Wilson, who was on MadTV with Spears, also appeared on the show. She suggested that her former coworker will "never be satisfied."

During the discussion (which starts around the 1:03:00 mark) Spears was asked if riches would "fulfill" him.

"I would be happy if I got that plus the things that really matter," he answered, adding that he's "not a great father" to his children.

"I want to tighten up my relationships with my sons," he continued. "And as much as I love the woman I want to marry for the third time, I cheat. I fuck other women."

"If I'm going to fuck up, let me fuck up with the mansion. But, not saying I want to fuck up, I'm just simply saying that that exterior shit, that's what I've dreamt
about, that's what I want."

Wilson then referred to Spears as emotionally "bankrupt."

"And my thing is this: You don't have to be," she said. "I know you. You’re a good man. If you want to be a good father, continue to be a good man. I know you, Aries, so don’t fuck with me.

"Don’t go for the outside shit, it won’t make you happy," she continued. "You can be a good father right now. You can be a good man to your wife right now."

Spears said that his relationship with his partner, who he has married and divorced twice, has "toxic" qualities, but Wilson urged him to "grow the fuck up."

Elsewhere in the two-hour reunion, the former MadTV crew discussed their salaries on the show, finding out that there were discrepancies.
