The actress expressed to 'The Hollywood Reporter' that the "humanity" in the City of Angels pales in comparison to other places she's traveled to.

Angelina Jolie foresees trading the City of Angels for a different location after her two youngest children are of legal age.

The Academy Award-winning actress, who shares three biological children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, was interviewed for a Hollywood Reporter cover story where she revealed her intention to someday move from Los Angeles.

Although Jolie "grew up" in LA under the guidance of her father, actor Jon Voight ,and her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, the 49-year-old shared that she's in the city "because I have to be here from a divorce."

Without going into details about the extent of her divorce from Pitt after five years of marriage she acknowledged that her two 16-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox, also have to reach the age of majority.

"But as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave," she said of her twins.

While her four oldest children, Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18 have pursued other activities like dance and attending college, Jolie still wants "privacy" for her family.

"When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety," Jolie told the publication. "I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here."

Once the Maria star leaves LA, she plans to "spend a lot of time in Cambodia," where, in 2002, she adopted her now 23-year-old son Maddox. Jolie also intends to "spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world."

Jolie and Pitt's divorce is still ongoing, following disputes over custody and finances, in addition to a lawsuit over their French winery, Château Miraval, which Pitt is majority owner of. Shiloh, the former couple's oldest biological daughter, legally removed ”Pitt” from her last name in time for her 18th birthday earlier this month.
