Kim Kardashian accidentally mistook Adrien Brody for Adam Brody, which got Jimmy Fallon's attention.
The talk show host and comedian welcomed The Brutalist star in the newest episode of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Monday (February 3), where he pulled out a photo of Kardashian praising Nobody Wants This on her Instagram Stories. While Adam Brody stars in the Netflix romantic comedy series, Kardashian mentioned Adrien Brody.
"Okay so I binged 4 episodes until I fell asleep! It’s sooooo good!!! I can’t wait to finish it! Must watch @erinfoster @sarafoster @kristenanniebell @adrienbrody @netflix," Kardashian wrote last September, over a photo of the series' title screen.
"She blew up my internet," Adrien joked in the video below. "My Instagram just went crazy."
Adrien also recalled going to dinner with Brutalist director Brady Corbet and being stopped by a fan upon entering the restroom.
"He said, 'I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. My wife's much better at this than I am. But are you Adam Brody?' And I said, 'Adrien Brody.' He said, 'Oh, yes. Yes. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry,'" Adrien recalled. "And then he proceeded to go into the ladies' room, and I said, 'Uh, that's the women's restroom.'"
Adrien would later mention Kardashian in an Instagram post involving a Brutalist screening that had nothing to do with the reality television personality and businesswoman, before changing the caption.
"I ♥️ NY! Thank you to The New York Film Festival and congratulations to the producers, cast and crew for the incredible screening of THE BRUTALIST @thenyff #thebrutalist,” Adrien began. "Many thanks to @a24 and @kimkardashian 👏"
