Nowadays, it seems like no one can lose weight without getting hit with Ozempic accusations.
On Sunday (Oct. 26), livestreamer DJ Akademiks sat down for an exclusive chat with rapper DDG at ComplexCon Day 2, and Ak had something to get off his chest.
“How you been?” DDG asks, to which Akademiks replied, “Man, they think I’m on Ozempic, n***a, not gon’ hold you.” He also mentioned that his clothes don’t fit anymore.
DDG, being the armchair investigative journalist he is, asked if Akademiks wanted to address the rumors once and for all.

“Nah. Here’s the funny part: if I was, I don’t know why it has a bad stigma though,” he replied. “Because, if I’m big as fuck and fat as fuck and I’m finna die ‘cause — I ain’t gon’ lie to you. I had breathing problems. I was that fat, n***a. If you unhealthy or you fat, they won’t applaud it?”

DDG chimed in, calling it “fucked up.”

DDG isn’t the only one impressed with Akademiks’ weight loss. In a recent stream, Adin Ross said, “My boy Ak getting right. You on Ozempic? What you on?”

Akademiks said it was all in his lifestyle changes, crediting the dramatic change to “working out and learning to eat good and not drinking lean like [Ross].”
