Issa Rae 'Can't Believe' This Is the Final 'Insecure' Trailer She'll Be Sharing

Series co-creator Issa Rae shared the trailer for the last season of her beloved show 'Insecure,' tweeting that she can't believe it's about to end.

The trailer for the fifth and final season of HBO’s popular show Insecure has just been released.

The comedy-drama’s star, executive producer, and co-creator Issa Rae expressed how bittersweet it is to share the teaser for her beloved show for the last time.

“Can’t believe this is the last #InsecureHBO trailer I’ll ever share,” Rae tweeted on Wednesday. “See you October 24th!”

This season of Insecure will be airing on HBO and HBO Max weekly starting on Oct. 24. According to the season's official synopsis: “The final season continues to follow our favorite characters as they evaluate their relationships, both new and old, in an effort to figure out who and what comes with them in this next phase of their lives.”

At the top of the year, Issa Rae reflected on the show's run while speaking to Deadlinehighlighting how the plan had always been to tell the story in five seasons, but how she was so thankful for the outpouring of support from fans.

[Insecure co-producer Prentice Penny] and I are so grateful that HBO believed in our show from the beginning and kept faith in us to see our vision through the end,” she said. “We always planned to tell this story through five seasons, but we couldn’t have made it this far without the tremendous support of our audience. I feel blessed beyond measure to bring our characters’ stories to an end, on-screen at least.”
