A college student was able to use the iPhone tracking feature to find the man who raped her, and stole her phone.
The 20-year-old woman was staying with a friend when she was sexually assaulted after an armed man broke into the sorority house where she was staying. The woman, Lindsey, talked toBusiness Insiderabout the incident:
When the man left, he took purses, credit cards, and Lindsey's iPhone. She quickly called police and they used the Find My iPhone app to track down the rapist. He was caught a day later and could serve 20 years in prison.
