Marijuana really is going mainstream. Adam Scott and his wife Naomi are working on a ganja-themed comedy called Buds for NBC. The network has committed to a script for the show, which Parks and Recreation writer Joe Mande (@JoeMande) will pen with the couple.
The series will will follow the day-to-day operations of a marijuana dispensary in Denver. It's the first show Adam and Naomi have sold from their Gettin' Rad Productions' two-year first-look deal with Universal Television. Gettin' Rad also teamed up with the Duplass brothers for the Sundance hit The Overnight.
Because this is just a script commitment we'd tell you not to get too excited. But you'll probably get high and space it out anyway.
