Jason Bateman is making his directorial debut with the feature film Bad Words, starring himself and Allison Janney.

While he suffered from alcoholism and drug addiction as a teenager, he has not had an alcoholic drink in over ten years.

Will Arnett and co-star Jason Bateman run a production company called DumbDumb, which is producing two original series for Call of Duty: Elite TV.

Will Arnett's first voice-over job, at 23 years old, was a commercial for Harvard Community Health Plan.

Will Arnett co-starred on another show with David Cross, the British-American sitcom The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.

David Cross admitted to snorting cocaine at the White House Correspondents Dinner just so he can say he did cocaine in the same room as the President.

Upon moving to Boston as a young comic, David Cross formed the sketch group Cross Comedy. Marc Maron was a member.

In the beginning of his career, David Cross and his friend John Ennis lived in a rented-out storage space behind the kitchen of a UCLA frat house.

Portia de Rossi's real name is Amanda Rogers. She chose "Portia" after the character from Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice, and "de Rossi" because she thought something Italian would be exotic.

Portia de Rossi is Australian, but taught herself to lose it when she moved to Los Angeles in 1995 to pursue her acting career.

Before she started going out with Ellen Degeneres, Portia de Rossi used to joke with her mom about dating her: "My mother would freak out about me dating women. If I called her and said I'd been out on a date, she'd start panicking and saying, 'What if they found out? What if they found out who you are?' So I'd say, 'Mom, relax, I'm not dating Ellen DeGeneres, for God's sake."

Portia de Rossi had a project that she was shopping around for TV called Butch and Fay, about two famous, gay actors who marry each other for the sake of their careers.

Jessica Walter shares a birthday with fellow co-star Portia de Rossi (January 31).

Jessica Walter's daughter is the Senior Vice President of ABC Family network. She says, "She could hire and fire me. She has hired me, but she has not fired me."

Jessica Walter still keeps in touch with Clint Eastwood, whom she met during Play Misty for Me, and says that he sends the best Christmas cards.

Jeffrey Tambor's first agent called him "Hot Ticket." Tambor thought it was a cool nickname until he realized that his agent just didn't know his name.

As an acting teacher, Tambor at one time taught his future Arrested Development co-star, Judy Greer.

Jeffrey Tambor was doing a Ph.D. program at Wayne State University in 1970 but he dropped out to appear alongside Richard Chamberlain in a Seattle Repertory Theater production of Richard II.

Jeffrey Tambor has conducted a workshop called "What's Keeping You?" which is focused on the personal and professional success, especially for film industry-types.

While living in New York, Tony Hale help found The Haven, an artistically minded community of Christians that meet weekly.

Tony Hale is also known for the famous Volkswagen commercial featuring him dancing to the song "Mr. Roboto."

Because his father was in the army, Tony Hale lived in Germany as a child. He said that their house was so big, he used to hide behind the piano because he was afraid there were ghosts.

Alia Shawkat's art has been showcased in galleries in Paris, L.A. and Mexico City. She also sings at jazz bars and makes music.

Alia Shawkat and Ellen Page, who met on the set of Whip It, wrote a pilot that's based on their own lives living in Silver Lake and Williamsburg.

Alia Shawkat starred in a video where she proposed to Tegan Quinn of Tegan & Sara (only to be rejected).

Alia Shawkat's first kiss was actually her kiss with Michael Cera in the pilot for Arrested Development. She described it as "two fists hitting each other, boom, in and out."

Michael Cera told Playboy the worst line he used on a girl was, "Hey, lady, those are some sexy-ass extensions. I guess you won't mind if I extend you a personal invitation to party with me one-on-one in a scary motel room."

Michael Cera and actor pal Clark Duke play in a two-man band called The Long Goodbye.

After the release of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Cera decided to go to Chile, where he traveled, improved his Spanish, and made two Chilean films, one of which is this year's Crystal Fairy.

When Cera was 9, he starred in a Pillsbury commercial and poked the Doughboy.
