It’s been a busy week for Taylor Swift, who has made quite a few more public appearances than usual, much to the delight of her massive fan base. The superstar was first spotted with her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, on Thursday, June 12, at Amerant Bank Arena, where they came to watch Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.
The following day, Swift stopped by the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. While there, she visited with many young patients, their families, and hospital staff.
Swift was captured in numerous photos and videos as she made her way through the hospital, eliciting shocked expressions, followed by smiles as she went. She was dressed in a long sage green Loewe dress and a pair of Louis Vuitton sandals. Of course, she also had plenty of friendship bracelets to share with the patients.
One mother named Ashley Rodriguez was at the hospital with her young daughter on the day that Swift happened to stop by. Her daughter had just been diagnosed with diabetes, and she and her family were still processing the life changes that the diagnosis would bring about.
Rodriguez shared a video on Instagram that showed some of the challenges her daughter had been through lately, followed by the unexpected visit by Swift. In the video, Swift could be seen taking the time to meet with her daughter and give her a special autographed gift.
“What an amazing hospital and staff @jdchospital that made us all feel so comfortable to go home and care for her. And what better way to get ready for discharge than to receive a special visit from @taylorswift 🤗🤗🤗 Today was a great day! Praying for all the children that are in the hospitals fighting their own battles,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
