With on next-gen console launch firmly behind us and another days away, it's hard to keep track of the actual games being released.
The PlayStation 4 dropped last week with a noticeable lack of big budget launch titles, which left smaller titles like Resogun to shoulder the deficiency. The PS4 is a potential box at this point, and that's perfectly all right. The Xbox One will be launching with more exclusives of the AAA flavor, with Forza 5 looking stunning right out of the box.
Whichever console you own, plan to own, or remembered that you still own, here are five games dropping this week that are all worth your hard-earned money.

5. Forza Motorsports 5
Platform: Xbox One
Release Date: November 22
One of the Xbox One's exclusive launch titles, Forza Motorsports 5 is undeniably a stunning title to showcase the Xbox One's cinematic capabilities. The Forza series has fiercely loyal following thanks to a crippling level of detail. Real world Engine specs, a massive roster of car models to select from, and, honestly, stunning visuals all helped Forza 5 nab the Best Racing Game of Gamescom 2013. Fans of racing games, spend your money here.
4. Ryse: Son of Rome
Platform: Xbox One
Release Date: November 22
Ryse has been the butt of many a joke since it was revealed at the Xbox One event earlier this year. It's been called a vehicle for microtransactions, a glorified quick-time event, and a recycled Kinect game that nobody cared that much about the first go around. And these may all be true to varying degrees, but Ryse: Son of Rome is another Xbox One launch title and it's looking way slicker than we thought it would. The Fall of Rome, it would seem, was a gorgeous place to watch an empire crumble.
3. Dead Rising 3
Platform: Xbox One
Release Date: November 22
Dead Rising 3 may not be able to compete directly with the launch titles on the PS4 in terms of graphics, but what it lacks in quality in makes up for in quantity. Endless legions of the undead are all waiting to be dismembered in the next entry to the Dead Rising series. Weapon crafting will once again be featured heavily in the title as players can build just about anything they can imagine. For a launch cycle that may seem remarkably light on titles, Dead Rising 3 is a hefty place holder for the Holiday season.
2. Super Mario 3D World
Platform: Wii U
Release Date: November 22
Remember that Wii U you've got sitting around? No? Well, let this be a reminder. Nintendo's not going to let a little thing like back to back, next-gen console launches stand in the way of dropping a new Mario title. No sir. Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U looks visually similar to the Super Mario Galaxy series and has Mario dressing up as a house cat. Really, no description of the game is going to do it justice. There will always be the die hard Nintendo fans that will pick up a new Mario title. You already know which camp you're in.
1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Platform: 3DS
Release Date: November 22
Nintendo is once again banking on the nostalgia gamers have for the nearly flawless A Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past, to move units. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds may be leaning a little too hard on the successes of the past. Between Worlds is gorgeous enough, especially with the 3D functionality enabled, but many of the dungeons in the game are clearly recycled from the SNES title. That one detail aside, the game lends itself perfectly to the 2DS as well as the 3DS and is one of the better titles released for Nintendo's handheld.
