Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin will be the comedy duo you never thought you needed. According to the Hollywood Reporterthe two actors will be playing, as the title suggests, brothers in the upcoming project.

Tropic Thunder and Get Hard writer Etan Cohen will develop the script, with American Sniper producer Andrew Lazar attached to the film as well. Both of the protagonists are set to produce the film as well, via their respective production companies Brolin Productions and Dinklage's Estuary Films. Legendary Entertainment, which has been attached to acclaimed films such as blacKkKlansman, reportedly signed on to the project after a bidding war.

The legion of fans who have called on producers to develop a Twins sequel, the 1988 Ivan Reitman film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, have finally been heard.

Plot details surrounding the upcoming film are scant, however with two actors such as Brolin, who plays the notorious antagonist Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Dinklage who's widely acclaimed for his role as Tyrian in Game of Thrones, it shouldn't be too difficult to create excitement. Although both actors are known for their dramatic portrayal, they have had their stints in comedy, with Brolin's Deadpool appearance and Tyrian's epic Saturday Night Live gig.

Both Linklage and Brolin have highly anticipated projects gearing up for release. Brolin will reprise his role as Thanos in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, and Linklage is set to return Tyrian to the small-screen when GoT returns for its final season in AprilGiven the hecticness of the next few months, production for Brothers will likely begin thereafter.
