Sometimes rapper, sometimes actor, sometimes jailbird, Tip “T.I.” Harris has signed on to play Joaquin, Kevin Hart's "streetwise cousin" in Get Hard. The premise behind the movie finds Will Ferrell's character, a wealthy investment baker, enlisting help from Hart, a prole who washes his car, in order to toughen up before a jail stint.
Etan Cohen, who wrote Tropic Thunder, is slated to direct.
Get Hard hits theaters next March and also stars Alison Brie, Dan Bakkedahl, and Gary Owen.
