Watch the Trailer for 'Rick and Morty' Season 4's Final 5 Episodes

New episodes start airing May 3.

Roughly three-and-a-half months after the Cartoon Network aired the last of the first five Rick and MortySeason 4 episodes, the powers-that-be at Adult Swim have released an official trailer to preview "the other five." This airing of new episodes took a while, at least by old TV standards, but it's a much quicker turnaround than the two-plus years that passed in-between the finale of Season 3 and the debut of Season 4.

Set to "The Boys Are Back in Town," the minute-and-15 seconds of footage titillates without providing any real specifics.

Hey, that's how trailers work.

Official episode descriptions haven't come out yet, according to Uproxx, but IMDb has a few nuggets. Take these for what they're worth because it's IMDb (if they're accurate, then very slight spoilers ahead).

The first episode is described like so: "Rick and Morty find a magic squirrel and travel to space where they do some over the clothes stuff."

The week after goes like this: "Morty meets a new kid called Jack who's in love with an alien called Tom. Rick tries to save him when it turns out the alien isn't who he thinks ."

And episode three (or eight, depending on how you view this) is outlined here: "Summer takes up knitting, and when her scarf gets caught in the garage door, it triggers a series of events leading up to the total destruction of the multiverse. "

There's no hints yet about the final two.

As stated in the trailer above, the season picks up again on May 3.
