A new study claims that there are four different personality types you can take on when you're drinking, the Telegraph reports. Researchers at the University of Missouri-Columbia asked 364 subjects to fill out a personality test: once as themselves, and once thinking of how they act when they're drunk. They categorized the subjects into four different camps: the Nutty Professors, the Mary Poppins, the Mr. Hydes and the Ernest Hemingways.

Nutty Professors gain more confidence when they drink, going from 0 to 100 real quick after a few beers or drinks with friends. On the other hand, Mary Poppins are responsible drinkers—they're the kind of person who will listen to you talk about your ex all night and advise you on whether or not to text them. The Mr. Hydes, well, they're a bit nasty; they report getting belligerent when they drink and are more likely to black out or get arrested.

But drinkers in the Ernest Hemingway category don't really change at all when they drink—like Hemingway himself, they report being able to handle their alcohol and maintain their wits about them while under the influence. Still, let's keep in mind that the subjects didn't fill out that personality test while they were actually drunk—they just had to self-report what they're like when they're drunk. And anyone can downplay a wild Saturday night—even Hemingway.
