Showtimes serial killer drama is over.

Last night was kind of a big deal for TV Twitter. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the 2013 Primetime Emmy broadcast in all its reactionary live-tweet glory. Breaking Bad delivered a quietly devastating penultimate episode. And Dexter ended with an hour that is sure to grace many a "Worst Series Finales of All Time" list.

Of course, showrunner Scott Buck and his writers' room all but guaranteed an anticlimactic shit-show thanks to a truly dull final season. But last night's conclusion was wacker than anything we could have imagined, as it was packed with several random, downright confounding and rushed twists. And that's in addition to the now trademark character buffoonery Dexter typically traffics in. (Angel's reaction to the camera footage of Saxon's death was just perfect. Clueless to the very end.)

We perused Twitter for the best reactions from angry fans, amused spectators, and the rare defenders. We are all lumberjacks now.
