It's hard to believe, but Deadpool is really, actually happening. Fam went from a tossed off, trash adaptation in the overall trash Wolverine: Origins to scoring the cover of Entertainment Weekly's latest issue in anticipation of the character's own movie. Now, in conjunction with the film's upcoming Comic-Con panel, EW has released images of the supporting cast and everyone looks appropriately badass.

There's Gina Carano as the mutant Angel Dust, seen here choking up Silicon Valley'sT.J. Miller, who plays Weasel, Deadpool's weapons-dealing sidekick. Former Game of Thrones star Ed Skrein is Ajax, the Weapon X baddie hunting down Deadpool and every other mutant who was involved with the covert program. Morena Baccarin is Copycat, the metamorph and also Deadpool's love interest (pictured with Ryan Reynolds). And Brianna Hildebrand will play Negasonic Teenage Warhead, which, say no more off the name alone. Simply put, this movie looks pretty damn solid so far. Who could've imagined that, alongside marquee heroes on Marvel and DC, Deadpool would be one of the most anticipated upcoming superhero films?
