Your boy Ryan Murphy really has endless clout and pull these days, b. Not only does he have two extremely trash anthology series on both broadcast and cable at the same damn time right now—shoutout Scream Queens, shoutout AHS: Hotel—but he's got another one in the pipeline.
American Crime Story, which instead of dreaming up ludicrous and laughably incoherent horror, will focus on true crime. And his first case is none other than...the O.J. Simpson trial? Why? Who cares? I sure don't, but he bamboozled his usual troupe of talented actors to join in and even attracted a few fallen star A-listers in John Travolta and Cuba Gooding, Jr. This sounds dumb but will probably do big ratings numbers.
