It may not be doing Empire numbers—and for what it's worth, the unnecessary comparisons the two shows face is frequently fueled by 50 to begin with—but 50 Cent's Starz series Power is doing impressive things in its own right. The drama's recently wrapped second season averaged 6.8 million viewers, becoming the most watched Starz original series to date.

Now, as Power preps to begin filming season three, 50 has announced he just signed an exclusive two-year overall deal with Starz to develop new projects. "Starz has been the perfect partner to make Power the success that it is and I am looking forward to developing many more record-breaking series with them," he said in an official statement.

Are we at the dawn of the next phase of 50's career, television super producer? Power is definitely dope, so let's see if he can do it again and then brag about it in spectacular, flashy 50 fashion on wax.
